This year’s Inside The NBA Christmas gift exchange not only included thoughtful presents shared among the tight-knit crew, it also served as a starting point for reconciliation between Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan. If you qualify a doll as that starting point.
To get what Kenny Smith called the “Silver of forgiving” going, he gave Chuck an 25cm of Jumpman apparel to set the mood, followed by a baby doll with MJ’s face low on. The reason for the doll? Smith wants Barkley to practice apologizing to MJ so that their friendship can be restored.
It’s likely not the worst strategy Smith has thought of. He got the two former pals Stealth Jordan XX3 at the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame in October but the mending didn’t hold. Barkley addressed just a few weeks ago why he and Jordan don’t speak, Jordan Zoom 92 PSG 25cms.
