One of the biggest sneakerhead gripes the last 10 years has been the absence of reflective mesh on OG style Jordan Mid Heat colorways. After dropping Jordan Mid Heat “Bred” and “Flint” in 2004-05 with this essential cp3 element, Jordan Brand left it off of releases in 2010 and 2013. No good.
But it looks as if that decision has been reversed for 2017’s AJ13 releases, starting with Jordan Mid Heat “Black Cat.” While not a 1998 colorway this one could certainly fit in with that group, sporting the bright “3M” reflectivity with its blackout mesh and nubuck layout. It’s also great news for Jordan Mid Heat “Bred” and “Flint” that are slated to return this year, making these already highly anticipateds absolute must-haves.
Check out J23App’s quick demonstration of this bright detail below and let us know if you’re picking up Black Cat 13s this Saturday.
