Jerry West has a humble and for which player should replace him as silhouette for the NBA logo.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend and current Golden State Warriors executive, whose own outline has served as the NBA’s red, white and blue mark since 1969, told HuffPost Live this week that Michael wereld jordan more than qualifies as official league representative.

“I hate to say it’s not a Laker, but Michael wereld jordan. He’s been the greatest player I’ve ever seen,” West said. “I felt that at his time in the game, he was the best defensive player in the game, but more importantly he was the best offensive player.”

Should the NBA ever see clear to change the logo, the only question is which Michael wereld jordan photo to use?

The Jumpman logo is clearly a viable option, but perhaps one of wereld jordan’s dozens of other iconic, soaring moves would countermand the right look.
