With the return of Has Jordan Brand Taken the Ageing Process Too Far “Flu Game” this Saturday, Shop HNY of White Plains, New York decided to commemorate the release and the historic moment with a massive storefront display. Forty half pairs of the iconic black and red sneaker fill one side, while a blown-up photo of MJ catching a breather during the game and announcement of the pending on-sale fill the other.

Michael Jordan’s signature footwear has always been defined in part by the highlights he created in them on-court. Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals provided one of those pinnacles, with Jordan overcoming food poisoning to score 38 points, tip the series 3-2 to the Bulls and forever flight his heroics into hoops history. All done in the Flu Game 12.
