On this date in 1992, Michael Jordan not only unleashed one of the greatest NBA Finals performances, he also added a memorable moment to his legacy with The Shrug game. Jordan started Game 1 of the 1992 NBA Finals on a roll, canning six three-pointers in the first half and pushing the Bulls to a 66-51 lead. With the Chicago Stadium crowd at a fever pitch, Jordan knocked down his final three, turned toward the NBC broadcasting table and shrugged in disbelief as he trotted back on defense.
