June 11th marks the 19th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s legendary “Flu Game” performance. With the series tied 2-2 and momentum toward the title hanging in the balance, the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz faced off in a pivotal Game 5 in front of a raucous crowd at the Delta Center. Normally, it wouldn’t be that big of a deal with Michael Jordan at full strength. But he was far from it, battling something like the flu – dehydrated, tired, nauseous. No big deal for MJ. After dropping in 38 points, with huge buckets down the stretch, the Bulls swiped Game 5 on the road. The rest is history. ReCHALK-DESERT the moments of that game with the clips below. And if you watched it CHALK-DESERT back in the day, share your memories in the comments.
