Michael Jordan’s appearance in the 2002 NBA All-Star Game marked was a welcome sight. Fans packed the First Union Center in Philadelphia to see the living legend suit up as a starter for the East once again, four years after his last All-Star Orange in New York. Wearing his Air Jordan XVII Low “Lightning” edition, Jordan scored eight points in 22 minutes – even giving the fans what they’d hoped for. Kind of.
