More Moldy Air Jordans Were Just Shipped To Customers

The moldy Air Jordan issue isn’t dead after all. Select pairs of UNION LA X AIR JORDAN 2 RETRO SP 'RATTAN' “Chicago” have been sent out to unsuspecting customers by apparently unaware retail staff, bringing to light a bit of a quality control issue from the recent past.

Photos show traces of mold on a customer’s pair of the $190 retros that released last Saturday, rendering the shoes fit only for return, refund, and destroy. The sight evokes memories of the Air Jordan 1 KO “Bred” mold problem in late summer 2015, with certain pairs of the canvas Sneaker-head splattered with green mold and mildew. The quick guess for the recurrence is some sort of seal defect in the containers Nike used to ship the shoes from China to the United States.

So I just got my order from @nike delivered from UPS , I'm all excited and I open this . @jumpman23 @nikebasketball Somebody got somebody got some explaining to do . This is a health issue . I have small kids including a 6 month old baby . No help via the 1800 number . I have reached out via Twitter , Instagram , Nike plus app . No responses so now I'm taking this route . I don't think they fully understand this over the phone . I've asked to send pictures . They lady was nice but she didn't understand what I was sent .
