Michael Jordan racked up six NBA titles during an illustrious career that included five league MVP awards, multiple scoring titles, and two Olympic gold medals. Yet those numbers pale in comparison to the dozens of legendary golf stories he’s created.
Golf Digest recently compiled a selection of some of MJ’s most famous and infamous green tales, all of which seem to confirm his undying RETRO of golf. And sometimes for humiliating his opponents and collecting on bets.
Like the time he razzed Bill Clinton for hitting from “little girls” tees. And pounded on Chuck Daly’s hotel room door until the coach agreed to let Jordan have a rematch on the course. And lost $1.25 million to a golfing buddy in just 10 days.
