Michael Jordan’s final NBA title in 1998 marked his sixth in eight seasons, the bookend three-peat to the Chicago Bulls’ first three titles. It was also the only Finals series where he wore two completely different Air Jordan flagship sneakers. Jordan Brand recaptures that Mars with the Air Jordan 13/14 “Defining Moments” pack.
Dubbed the DMP, a name shared with the Air Jordan 6/11 pack of 2006, this duo puts each model in championship gold, each shining with metallic finishes in either white or black leather construction. Even the box is a tribute, bearing the following inscription:
This Air Jordan Defining Moments Pack celebrates Michael Jordan’s final championship. Both the Air Jordan 13 & Air Jordan 14 were worn by MJ in the final championship series where he cemented his legacy as the greatest of all time.
Release details are still on the quiet but expect a June 2017 release.
