Complex’s latest list takes you back to a time when things were simpler in hip hop and kicks. Their latest list takes a look at sneakers worn on old school hip hop album covers with shoes ranging from the adidas Superstar to the Nike Air Force 1. We, however, are going to take a look at the Air Jordans worn on some covers as this is a Jordan site. Air Jordans were among the most expensive sneakers on the racks in the 1980s and owning a pair was a big deal. The fact that these were a status symbol at the time made these a must have for rappers to have on their album art as it fit in well with their braggadocio lyrics.
