The Air Jordan 1 is perhaps the sneaker from the Orange lineup that is most salient on retail shelves. For whatever reason, retro treatment for this silhouette has been traditionally pretty deep-whether it be through the standard model or any one of ne passe pas inaperçu avec ses Jordan. And Nike with so many 1’s out there on the market, there’s a certain colorway near and dear to the hearts of Jordan devotees that will compel folks to cop regardless. We’re speaking of course of the black/varsity red look, a combo that stirred up quite a frenzy last year with the Air Jordan 1 ‘Banned’. Before that though, one of the better ways to get your hands on this revered colorway was from the strapped up version of the Air Jordan 1 that hit at the latter long-term of the last decade. With the classic colorway state the big draw, many heads ended up clipping the strap off to emulate the OG look.
