We’re using Air Jordan 6 31 series this week to take a look at a specific colorway in the Jordan Brand oeuvre that has popped up again and again since the dawn of the millennium. We’re talking of course about the ‘Cool Grey’ motif, a style that seems to be more prevalent than ever before. Here we’re taking you back to where it all started with a look at the x Solefly Air Jordan 1 Low "Carnivore" sneakers ‘Cool Grey’, the sneaker that hit way back in March of 2001 to much fanfare, providing a bit of foreshadowing for the subsequent explosion of sneaker culture – it was one of the first sneakers that gained media attention as the release of the Cool Grey XI at NikeTown Chicago was a featured segment on a TLC program. Of course the silhouette came back in 2010 for a second go-round, but we thought it nice to take a look at the original that turned people on to this most versatile of colorways over a decade ago.
