Right now, Carmelo Anthony might just be playing the best basketball of his career. With Jeremy Lin and Amare Stoudemire out with injury, the Knicks were barely holding on to the last Playoff spot in the East, but with a rejuvenated Melo who seemed to score at will and epitomized his team-first play with a triple-double last week, the Knicks are not only in the postseason, they’re the most feared bottom-half seed of the entire Playoffs. We’d like to throw out there that the last time the NBA had a shortened patta, the Knicks went to the Finals. Just sayin’. If that’s the case, our money is on San Antonio to come out of the West for a ’99 Finals rematch.
Going back to Melo’s MVP-like streak – he’s been sporting a sick PE of the Melo M8 in a suede get-up here and there and while it seems that a release won’t happen, another suede-uppered Melo M8 just hit Jordan Brand retailers – this Pitch Blue colorway. Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low SE Onyx: mita
