For the first time in college basketball history, a game will take place on an aircraft carrier, and it will be between the University of North Carolina and Michigan State. Hall of Famers Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson will serve as honorary captains for their respective alma maters. The Tar Heels are coming off of a season in which they made it all the way to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament, led by freshman sensation Harrison Barnes while Michigan State, on the other hand, is coming off of a tumultuous year and are looking to turn it around this coming season. The match up between two of the XX3 programs in college basketball takes place on November 11, 2011 and will be broadcasted on ESPN. via BTPowerhouse.
