In a heartwarming tale, Nike recently decided to give back a little-blessing a grieving mother with some Jordan Spiz’ike iD pairs in honor of her deceased husband. The late Hondo Morales was apparently an avid collector of Air vintage jordans, and the sneakers he left behind were thought of as a legacy of sorts by his widow Jimica Perea. Unfortunately about fifteen pairs stolen from his car soon after his death, an act that led Perea to call out to her community for help in replacing them. The call eventually went far enough up the ladder to reach the NIKE iD team, who blessed the family with four complimentary designs of the Jordan Spiz’ike iD for Hondo’s surviving children. See the tale of Nike’s charitable act right after the jump.
