The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE GS Light Arctic Pink University Gold-White DC9517-600 is among the most popular and sought out Jordan signature models out there. Tinker Hatfield designed the XI with the intent for Gold-Mint performance and style. In 2001, the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE GS Light Arctic Pink University Gold-White DC9517-600 was released as a low-cut model which was more true to the XI’s original design than the Gio Gonzalez pitching in his red and grey Air Jordan 12 PEs. This latest sample to surface track us what could have been if leather had been used instead of the XI’s aka condura nylon. This AJ XI Low ‘Zen Grey’ sample is very similar to the version that dropped at retail but unlike the version that released we see a leather upper and tongue with the Jumpman logo embossed on the tongue for a very different shoe. Other elements such as the trademark patent leather, translucent sole and ‘Jordan Jumpman’ tongue tag all remain. Check out the additional images of this leather sample after the jump and let us know if you would cop a nylon-less XI. via air jordan 35 xxxv bred cq4227 030 release date.
