The Seattle Supersonics haven’t played a game of basketball since 2008, but that hasn’t stopped Jordan Brand from paying homage to the team that served as the Bulls’ 1996 NBA Finals opponents. With an upcoming release of an Air Jordan 1 Mid “Sonics” christened under the imprint of ‘Formidable Foes’ there’s no denying that JB has respect for the Sonics. And while that sneaker sees an upper based in white, today’s look at the Air Jordan1 Low “Sonics” features a forest green toebox with black side panels and a yellow Swoosh. Seattle waits for another NBA team to go broke and rightfully relocate to Washington State, but until then they can do so in a casual pair of lows in their favorite team’s colors. Hit the jump for a better view and stay tuned for release info soon.
