The Air Jordan 1 Retro ’86 has been a branded addition to the lineage of Air Jordan hybrids that use Mike’s first signature sneaker as a base to then minimally tweak to nod at another signature. Who would’ve thought that using the first 2 sneakers together would make such a difference? The latest pair is a subtle scheme of white, pure platinum and kumquat – that yellow-orange shade that lights up the back heel and outsole while the other two make for a low key Summer-ready model. The pure platinum hits on the lining, laces, and midsole but you can hardly differentiate the color from white, as an iguana print hits the toebox and side panels. What do you think of the latest Air Jordan 1 ’86? They’re slated to release this Saturday, June 21st, so be sure to grab a better look at the sneaker and pick up your pair this weekend at select retailers like Wish ATL.
