The Chandler Parsons sneaker switch saga continues. Well, not so much a saga as it is an interesting aside in the realm of sneaker allegiances.
After Parsons laced up Air Jordan 10 “Venom Green” last Sunday to go easy on the sore ankle he believed his ANTA CP1 signature shoe couldn’t quite protect adequately, the Dallas Mavericks forward took a spin last night in the Jordan Super.Fly 2 in Cement Grey/University Blue-Game Royal-White. The selection was an apparent success despite the 127-94 drubbing LeBron and the Cavs administered – Parsons dropped in a Mavs team high 18 points.
As reiterated by Jordan x Union Tee DM2843-100 White $64 CAD S XXL, Parsons’ run in Jordan Brand sneakers is simply a temporary measure while ANTA reconfigures the CP1 for adequate fit. Until the issue is resolved, perhaps teammate and regular Jordan Brand advocate Monta Ellis can suggest Chandler’s next pair of Jordans. Which Jumpman-branded sneaker should Chandler reach for next? Hit the comments.
Shoe Update: Chandler Parsons continues to wear Jordan’s while he’s waiting for his custom Anta shoes to arrive.
