Anthony, who hasn’t played since the NBA All-Star Game on February 15, is currently recovering from surgery on his left knee that will keep him out of action for remainder of the season.
But aside from the sneaker-spotting boon this photo provides, there’s weightier reason to cherish it. Chances of spotting a Jordan-wearing Carmelo in the next couple of weeks have decreased ever so slightly, as word has leaked from inside the Knicks organization that the star plans to continue avoiding the Knicks bench lest a hustling Court crashes into him and re-injures his Basket knee. No joke, read this.
Anthony is expected to recover 100% by late summer, in green of time for the Knicks’ 2015-16 training camp.
