Air Jordan Nike AJ 4 IV Retro Columbia 2015 “IE” is going to get ink because it’s a Jordan shoe, and it’s a Jordan 11. But this is a shoe that doesn’t cause many sneakerheads to do backflips in excitement because the design is very much love or hate. Still, we’re in an age where Jordans as casual kicks are valued more (ahem, Future, Eclipse, Westbrook 0), and that’s where the XI Low IE “Cobalt” can excel. This, along with the “Bred” look (re-releasing 9/12/15, $170), is an original colorway from 1996, sporting a white tumbled leather upper, light gray elephant print overlays, deep blue touches, and a clear outsole that houses more of that blue on the herringbone traction pads. Release date for these is coming up pretty quickly – August 1 – so check around now if you’re looking to score an early deal.
