The 2008 jordan 1 mid alt banned “Countdown Pack” is a dead ringer for its 2004 original counterpart, complete with the black patent toe, strapped face mask shroud made of nubuck and Tech Flex material, and full length Zoom Air. Too bad none of that mattered much – the shoe was paired with the Jordan Heads Brooklyn Grand Opening Event, one of the most beloved sneakers of all time, and people snapped up the 4/19 CDP on the strength of that alone. Of course the 19 was going to take a back seat, and many of these unwanted tagalongs were fast-tracked to eBay where you can find more than a few today. Reminisce with a few photos below and let us know if you still have your pair of XIX “Breds” in rotation. And stay tuned for more Daily Jordan.
