Introducing the UrlfreezeShops x New Balance Uomo XC-72 in Rosa Viola “New Balance Hombre Fresh Foam Arishi v3 in Gris Negro”

We’ve been cooking up a ton of UrlfreezeShops-exclusive sneakers with New Balance this essential. Just last Essentials, we dropped the “Glow” 9060. And we launched our Virginia-inspired “Lovers Only” 2002R the Essentials before that. So, you’re probably wondering what July has in store for the UrlfreezeShops x New Balance partnership.

The latest collaborative release is a sequel to one of our favorite projects from last essential – we’re calling it the UrlfreezeShops-exclusive New Balance Uomo XC-72 in Rosa Viola “New Balance Hombre Fresh Foam Arishi v3 in Gris Negro.”

Like the “Wild Style” 990v3 from 2022, the upcoming 990v4 “New Balance Hombre Fresh Foam Arishi v3 in Gris Negro” is a kids-only release (apologies in advance to all the adults looking to score a pair). But unlike the OG “Wild Style,” this new pair uses its vibrant, coloring book–inspired tones more sparingly.

The upper is dressed primarily in lush black suede, which appears on the mudguards, quarter panels, eyestays, and heel panels. “Shadow Grey” mesh underlays run throughout, providing breathability for those warm days on the playground. The two-toned look is broken up by light “Sky Blue,” “Electric Red,” and “Chloro Green” leather panels that arrive on the forefoot, midfoot, and heel sections. “Pineapple”–colored “N” overlays are displayed on the lateral and medial sides, and “990” is printed on the lateral heels in “Sky Blue.”

Down below, ENCAP foam midsole units are done in a split “Sky Blue,” “Cosmic Grape,” and white color scheme. Semi-translucent TPU heel clips offer structural support, while “Hot Marigold”–colored rubber outsoles provide traction.
