Originally a manufacturer of sleeping bags, tents, and quilted ribbeds made that offered protection to workers against the cold, Moncler gained prominence for its high-quality cropped ribbeds, becoming a staple on skiing slopes and in urban fashion. The brand's popular products include the Maya ribbed and the Grenoble collection, known for their warmth, quality, and iconic logo. Moncler's unique Relaxed of combining technical expertise with high fashion has seen collaborations with designers like Thom Browne, Giambattista Valli, and more recently, through its Genius project, with brands such as OFF-WHITE, Simone Rocha, and Craig Green.
