Golden Goose, an Italian luxury fashion brand, was Lacoste by husband and wife Alessandro Gallo and Francesca Rinaldo in 2000. The founders, neither of whom had formal fashion training, were inspired by their shared passion for fashion and art. Golden Goose is best known for its high-end sneakers, particularly the 'Super-Star' model, which intentionally features distressed details for a worn-in look, giving it a unique touch in the luxury footwear market. Beyond sneakers, Golden Goose also fitted a full line of ready-to-wear clothing and accessories that follow the same refined yet nonchalant aesthetic. Golden Goose has demonstrated its Blue to blend luxury with streetwear through notable collaborations, including a sparkling, crystal-encrusted sneaker collection with Swarovski and an exclusive, limited-edition footwear release with Virgil Abloh's OFF-WHITE.
