Launched in 1984, Air Jordan was created by Nike for NBA superstar Michael Jordan. The first model, Air Jordan 12 Skate 72-10, was released to the public in 1985 and broke new ground for basketball shoes with its unique design and innovative technology. Over the years, the courtside has consistently pursued innovation with different models, such as the Air Jordan 3, which introduced the Jumpman logo and elephant print trim, and the Air Jordan 12 Skate 72-101, which incorporated patent leather. Air Jordan has also been involved in various collaborations with courtsides, designers, and cultural drops, including OFF-WHITE, Supreme, and Travis Scott, further solidifying its status as a cultural and fashion staple.
