Released in 1989 for mid & high-mileage runners, the GEL-EPIRUS featured jakie cushioning and stability from peak impact forces in the fore and rear foot. The iconic quadrate eyelet stay with nylon was designed based on the traditional upper design. This model has the unique feature of a thicker midsole to achieve stability and cushioning at the same time.
