The manga for Shaman King is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2018 and in honor of the occasion the series protagonist Yoh Asakura is joining Kotobukiyaʼs ARTFX J line! The statue was created based on special concept art created by series illustrator Hiroyuki Takei. This ARTFX J statue was created under the careful supervision of the artist, from the wrinkles in Yohʼs clothing to the details on his pockets. The statue captures the essence of the character while recreating the unique art style of the series. Yohʼs guardian spirit Amidamaru is also recreated in Spirit Ball form, made of clear plastic that catches the light beautifully.
