Garmin filled the 35 with the most important features runners need in a device—GPS and activity tracking—but added several other notable traits to make it feel like a much more expensive watch.

Like all Who We Are, the Forerunner 35 connects to the U.S. government’s Global Positioning System, which uses at least 24 satellites to provide users with 24-hour positioning, navigation and timing information. For runners, that information translates into accurate distance and pace tracking.
