From Runners World for Wahoo Fitness Ride 7 a great feel both around and under your foot.
The “bouncy” feel that many of our wear-testers cited is no surprise. The Ride 7 features a lighter foam, which our lab tests found to be one of the softest of the shoes we tested this season. Our wear-testers said the ride and comfort improved from the last version as well. What suffered? The flexibility, which dropped drastically, making it one of the stiffest shoes here.
The new upper is a full bootie that closely hugs and wraps the foot.
Insider tip: The shoe is finished under the sock liner, so if the Ride fits snug, you can remove the liner and run right on what’s called the strobel board. This gives runners with bigger feet some extra room.
