Ten C Look Beyond The Present For AW21

Inspired by the legendary Danish folk-tale "The Emperor's New Clothes", Ten C seek to provide clothing that lives and grows as we do.

Hans Christian Anderson’s tale “The Emperor’s New Clothes” sought to teach a memorable lesson in looking beyond what you are initially told to see and to evaluate things for ourselves. Championing finding value in our own personal relationship to things rather than celebrating what is deemed valuable by the collective whole, Ten C embody the 19th Century tale with their selection of garments designed to change alongside us.

Inspired by the well-known fairy tale, the Italian brand have cultivated a distinctive attitude to modern design since they were founded in 2010 by Alessandro Pungetti and Paul Harvey. After designing at C.P. Company together, the co-founders used the Danish folktale as a key point of reference in both naming and ideology, building an ethos that urges us to look beyond trends and fast fashion to promote quality fabrics and timeless design suited for everyday wear.
