Since Aimé Leon Dore founder, Teddy Santis, was appointed creative director of New Balance’s Made in USA line back in 2021, the sneaker world eagerly waiting for the first pairs to drop - and once released in 2022, they did not disappoint. This 990 silhouette nods to the seasonal months ahead. Coloured in earthy tones of olive green, cream and navy, they’re made with a mix of mesh and suede overlays, along with a blend of hairy suede at the heel. Underfoot, you’ll find an ENCAP midsole promising ultimate cushioning, whilst signature branding sits at the tongue, heel and side wall to round off the look.
