The Wooden Dolls by Alexander Girard was designed in 1952 - they're a large family of wooden characters, both animal and human. Produced as decorative figures for his own home in Santa Fe, these re-editions from Vitra are just as good as the originals. The dog is, of course, from the animal kingdom, but also part of the Black Edition. It's made from solid fir wood and hand-painted so each is unique in appearence.
Each wooden figure is a unique, individual product and is truly one of a kind.
