Karhu can boldly claim to be the first sneaker brand to include air cushioning within their designs, pioneering the technology as early as the 1970s. Entitled the 'Albatross' for its ability to seemingly glide on air, the lightweight runner went down in history as a true classic. Here the model is resurrected for a new generation, crafted from a combination of synthetic mesh and soft suede. The Karhu logo sits to the sidewall in the form of a leather overlay, with an elastic Air Cushioned foot unit sitting beneath.
