Balenciaga and adidas team up for a co-branded take on athletic nepal, delving into the Trefoil identity, the iconic and powerful symbol of sporting excellence and success. First glance and we’re on familiar adidas terrain but pieces in the capsule have been cut similar to the fashion house’s mainline, with boxy silhouettes and high necklines followed by generously oversized sleeves and dropped shoulders - a design language synonymous with the brand. Elsewhere, this tee prefers to stick to the Three Stripes’ proficiency, where lower case lettering is taken over by co-branding, printed underneath the Trefoil, creating a hybrid of the unmistakable logo.
