Needles’ sportswear output has gained the Japanese label a devoted following, blending the comfort of athleisure-wear with quality tailoring. They’re signed off with the signature butterfly motif at the thigh - which Shimizu was inspired to adopt as the brand’s emblem after seeing Steve McQueen’s tattoo in the 1973 film Papillon.
