Nike’s Blazer Mid first made its debut on the hardwood in ’77, and in the years that followed, soon became an icon. This women’s version, though, is a departure from what we’re familiar with — it’s given an eco-minded makeover, with its heel panel and Swoosh dyed using natural materials and cork rubber used throughout. There’s even reference to the plant used for its dye, as well, with an embroidered graphic at the sidewall and a scientific reason at one heel.
