We’ve seen the Toyko-based designer take on numerous iconic kicks from the Swoosh and the roster continues to expand as the Air More Uptempo is transformed into a low-top. The duo’s worlds collide bridging the hardwood with the aesthetic of skate shoes in the noughties. Stone nubuck uppers take a seat back while bright yellow graffiti inspired AIR overlays emblazon the sidewalls. When the lights go out, rope-like lacing will glow with flecks of reflective detailing. This b-ball model may have been re-imagined and re-tooled, but heritage always remains, with an Air cushioned sole rounding off this boundary pushing collaboration.
