Nike x Sacai LDWaffleGreen Gusto & Safety Orange
Taking two archival Nike runners to the runway, Japanese imprint Sacai introduce the LDV Waffle. A key piece from the designer’s SS19 show, Abe Chitose’s hybrid sneaker delivers double-time; bringing a double Swoosh, double tongue and double stacked laces to its acid green uppers. Adding to the deconstructed sneaker trend with its shadowed design, the rich colour contrasts and a fusion of mesh, leather and suede offer the perfect amount of unexpected style into the mix, while its ledge-like EVA midsole insert plays up to Sacai’s love of innovation.
