ACRONYM DROP A

ACRONYM DROP A showcases the Berlin-based label’s technical, research-driven approach to design.

ACRONYM is all about shifting the boundaries of technical outerwear; since day one, Errolson Hugh has taken a relentless approach to innovation, pursuing the experimental, the cutting-edge and the utilitarian with an unwavering stance. Each collection serves as an experimentation into form, function and materials, resulting in pieces geared for whatever the city, or outdoors, throws your way.

With the latest collection from ACRONYM, titled “Drop A”, the Berlin-based label continues to showcase why it represents one of the frontrunners in technical design. The collection includes the label’s usual hyper-technical pieces, like a GORE-TEX jacket with a detachable hood — that also doubles as a bucket hat — and articulated trousers with utilitarian details. There’s references to collegiate styling in there, too, with varsity-style jackets detailed with glitchy and futuristic patches at the chest.
