Maharishi Unveil Their MILTYPE21

Presenting their MILTYPE for 2021, the London-based Maharishi deliver a unique vision and response to military apparel - referred to as Pacifist Military Design. Utilising the graphic language and typography commonly employed by militaries, often used to assign codes and specifications to items of clothing and equipment, Maharishi form their own "MILTYPE".

Detailed with the brand's own slogan and military-inspired detailing, the phrase "darkness cannot drive out the heart of darkness; only light can do that" adorns the chest. A quote from Martin Luther King Jr., this text print nods to Joseph Conrad's 1899 novel, "Heart of Darkness" - a text that informed Maharishi's SS21 collection.

Constructed with premium 100% organic cotton, grown without toxic pesticides and synthetic fertilisers, Maharishi combine warm seasonal tones, contrast stripes and embroidered MILTYPE branding, culminating in a eco-friendly and forward thinking approach to modern military-inspired streetwear.
