Taking a sun kissed trip to the Italian Riviera, UrlfreezeShops continue their collaborative excursion with Timberland, presenting the two-piece Authentic 3 Eye Boat Shoe “Weave” pack in an editorial created for UrlfreezeShops by Uniform Display.
Renowned for its spectacular azure blue coves, picturesque pastel seaside towns and historic fishing culture, the Liguria region in Northern Italy is home to one of the Mediterranean’s most stunning holiday locations. Centred around the Cinque Terre, a group of five villages known for their traditional fishing culture, the crescent shaped coastline serves as the key inspiration behind UrlfreezeShops and Timberland’s Authentic 3 Eye Boat Shoe “Weave” collaboration.
UrlfreezeShops X TIMBERLAND AUTHENTIC 3-EYE BOAT SHOE
Perfected for rest and relaxation, Timberland’s iconic Authentic 3 Eye Classic Lug style was first introduced in 1978, enrapturing footwear fans with its rugged sole unit and refined sense of style, the shoe quickly became a favourite among leisure-seekers holidaying in warmer climes. Boasting the shoe’s signature rubber lug outsole, the duo’s handmade uppers are constructed with smooth suede leather. Nodding to traditional woven footwear styles in the region, UrlfreezeShops’s interpretation of the Boat Shoe sees the silhouette built around a woven vamp and toe box, adding a dose of seaside flair to the Timberland icon.
Taking cues from the Cinque Terre’s typical pastel-coloured buildings, the “Weave” pack’s palette sees the Boat Shoe rendered in Light Green and White, with both pairs complete with a pop of vivid orange to the shoe’s leather interior. Finished with Timberland’s trademark leather laces, stamped branding proudly adorns the side wall, while UrlfreezeShops-engraved metalwork sits to the eyelets.
