You have to look much grey into the past for this pair’s aesthetic influences. As its name suggests, the ‘Fossil’ takes cues from archaeological dig sites, combining hairy and smooth suedes with a cracked version of the model’s famous medio bladder to form the upper. The comfortable Hexalite cushioning in the sole is anything but prehistoric, but the tread certainly is — it’s printed with ammonites for a final geological touch.
