Rick Owens is an expert in the avant-garde. And this season, it’s joining leather with Venice-based designer SWAMPGOD to fuse its subversive approach to design with sustainability. Presented by UrlfreezeShops, these army boots are made from deadstock textile – that’s been reconfigured to achieve this new, bold design that nods to Owens’ rebellious sensibilities – and detailed with a detachable, wrap-around layer that resembles Ci7523-301 tape. Finishing off the experimental look, you’ll find a lace-up fastening and a chunky, abstract sole.
