Nike Air Max 1 DNHMNavy
Amsterdam loves a Nike Air Max, so the latest pair, a project with city-native DENHAM, makes a lot of sense. The jean maker uses its favourite fabric, denim, across Tinker’s iconic Air Max 1, giving it kakuju-tsunagi sashiko stitches across the midfoot, a chequered finish across the toe and teaming it with luxe suede accents throughout. There’s reworked top eyelets – split into two rather than being joined in the middle – and a denim-synonymous brown brand patch on the tongue, while the visible Air unit takes on a striking red hue, shared with the eyelets and Swoosh stitch, and a gum rubber outsole rounds things off.
