Valentino x Undercover– the classic Italian couturier meets the figurehead of Japanese subversion in a celebration of what both brands do best. Here, a signature Valentino piece, the camouflage t-shirt, is reimagined by Jun Takahashi, Undercover’s creative director. Takahashi artfully decorates the front with a composite image – a turquoise cameo of a well-dressed gentleman, his face replaced by a UFO and his shoulder marked with a monogram of ‘V’ and ‘U’. At the back, the oversized is namechecked again.
