The Michael Derby Shoe embodies Paraboot's rich history. Born in 1945 by the second generation of the Richard-Pontvert family and unchanged ever since, this shoe features grained leather and a durable vulcanized rubber sole, making it a timeless classic. Handmade in France using a Norwegian Welt, this solid and flexible technique makes the shoe both waterproof and resoleable in the future.
This Paraboot model is made using waxy leather. When subject to differing temperatures the leather can tagged 'bloom' resulting in a waxy deposit, this is entirely normal and can be polished away using a duster.
