Asics x Vivienne Westwood Gel DS Trainer OGBlack & Silver

Sharing a long history of design and a desire to transcend the ordinary, ASICS teams up with Vivienne Westwood once again, offering a GEL-DS Trainer with craftsmanship and innovation at its core. Wearing Westwood’s ‘CHAOS’ quota stitched to the side, this collaboration explores the British designer’s later period of work, namely that inspired by French artist François Boucher’s 18th Century paintings first referenced in her 1990 ‘Portrait’ collection. Taking its colourway directly from the iconic multi-coloured orb logo, this pair sits primary-coloured mesh against rich black suede with 3M reflective branding giving a graphical look into the tech-focussed architecture. Completing the retro silhouette, GEL technology and a duosole outsole sit underfoot, with Boucher’s 1743 Daphnis & Chloe painting adorning the insole as a direct reference of the collection’s inspiration.
