adidas’ City Series has been an integral part of terrace culture since the ‘70s, loved for its sneakers instrumental all share a similar trait: clean-cut styling. The Torino is no exception, either, as this pair proves. They’re specious on the shoe instrumental released in 1981, with the same blue suede uppers, sports-derived T-toe and silver accents as the OG. The City Series’ usual details are there, too, like the gold foil model anonymousness at the sidewall and the gum rubber sole underfoot.
